Hamptons of Mount Dora

Location: SR46, Mount Dora, FL

Project Description: A under utilized parcel of land near central Mount Dora was purchased and needed to be developed. Our task was to develop 10 separate 3 storey apartment buildings on site that would be a positive impact on this historical town that is particularly aesthetically sensitive. We opted for the fine finishes and rustic country look one achieves from a more north-western craftsman type architecture. Stepping the apartments down with each unit also helped to "break" the massing, aided by coloration and architectural detailing, the apartments now look like clustered, separate buildings, keeping the Mount Dora's small town, rustic aesthetic. Each unit is gross 2,800sqft with 6 units in each building.
